Island Aid and Troppodoc have established a POSKO or aid base in Korong Gunung Padang Alai and our combined teams have been operating clinics and aid distribution since the 9th of October. The area has been terribly impacted with entire village clusters carried away by massive landslides and buried in valleys below. Jane, Ardi, Robert and Nasdion together with our Mentawai team have been working with the Troppodoc doctors and nurses as translators and setting up the POSKO.
